Cyanta Expands Analytical and Business Development Staff

Cyanta announces the hiring of additional staff members as the company continues to expand its services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Derek J. Richards has joined the team as Director-Business Development. He will be assisting clients on the East Coast, promoting Cyanta's contract research services, including extractables and leachables testing, materials characterization, method development and validation, stability services, medical device testing, and more. "Derek has 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry" says Benjamin Wodicker, Executive Director of Business Development, Cyanta, "we are looking forward to utilizing his expertise to assist our East Coast customers."

Also joining the Cyanta team is Sarah A. South, as Scientist I. Formerly with Pfizer, she brings over 20 years of experience in analytical chemistry, specifically in pharmaceutical discovery projects. "Sarah is part of our growing laboratory team," says Allen Kesselring, Ph.D., Cyanta's Vice President and General Manager, "we are pleased to have Sarah's expertise in qualitative and quantitative analytical development, particularly with her strong LC/MS/MS skills."

Cyanta is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at Interphex 2011 in New York, March 29-31, at Booth #1029. Benjamin Wodicker and Derek Richards will be available to discuss analytical research and development challenges for the pharmaceutical, biotech and generic industries.
