. Test Engineer -- Phoenix, AZEvans Analytical Group, LLC (EAG) is a leader in providing microelectronics failure analysis services to organizations worldwide. The EAG worldwide lab network provides failure analysis, reliability, ATE and calibration and analytical services. It’s fast paced, technically challenging environment where you will have an opportunity to use your advanced experience. We are looking for an ESD Test Engineer who will develop and debug HBM, MM, CDM, TLP, and Latch up tests. Work with customer design groups to understand new requirements for ESD device characterization and test. Interface with customers to define scope of work, clarify information, and resolve issues. Help define processes to improve productivity and quality of the ESD team. Assist in defining and writing related automation software, including scripts and database integration. Responsibilities will include performing setup, debug, testing and data logging of integrated circuits using automated test equipment including Thermo Fisher MK4, MK2, RCDM. Provide excellent customer support, ensure that all requirements are understood and met, and educate customers about ESD test standards. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and has a strong sense of responsibility. This position requires 1-2 years of experience in ASICS test engineering or circuit design and a BS or MS in electrical engineering with a focus on semiconductor device physics and integrated circuit design. In addition to the above, a solid understanding of circuits and electronic test equipment including parameter analyzer, oscilloscope, power supply, etc., programming skills, PERL, python, C++, UNIX, Windows Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), a strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment are essential. EOE Metrology (PMEL) Technician -- Tempe, AZEvans Analytical Groups Calibration Laboratory in Tempe, Arizona supports a variety of customers with Physical/Dimensional, DC/LF, and RF/Microwave calibration and repair services. We have a current opening for a full time Calibration (PMEL) Technician to fulfill a key role in meeting current calibration needs, and improving and expanding the lab’s capabilities for future growth. Primary duties will be to provide quality calibrations to a diverse assortment of DC/LF and RF/Microwave test equipment as detailed below. Additional duties include daily laboratory operations, such as: automated procedure development/debug (MetCal), environmental monitoring, uncertainty calculations, new procedure development, compliance with quality system requirements, troubleshooting and repairs, on-site calibrations at customer locations, and participation in ongoing projects to improve and expand laboratory capabilities and infrastructure. 5+ years combined experience in calibration, troubleshooting & repair of electrical/electronic measuring instruments, with expertise in the following metrology disciplines: DC Power Supplies and Loads, Multimeters (handhelds and precision, Digital Thermometers, Semiconductor Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Electrometers and Picoammeters, ESD Wrist, Resistivity & Field Meters, LCR Meters, Function Generators, Oscilloscopes (to 20 GHz), RF Signal Generators, and Spectrum/Network Analyzers (to 26.5 GHz) In addition to the above: advanced calibration training (U.S. military PMEL or TMDE School or equivalent preferred); ability to understand electronic circuits, theory and schematics; computer skills including: MS Office (Word and Excel), Database (such as MetTrack), Automated Calibration software (MetCal, Surecal, etc.); capable of heavy lifting (>50 lbs); 20% - 40% travel is required as well as the possibility of overnight travel; valid Drivers License. We are looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer who can help us meet our customers' goals. Responsibilities for this role include initial consultation with customers to define the device's problem, developing and executing analyses, and communicating results. This is a hands-on position that will require both performing analysis and leveraging other EAG colleagues' efforts. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and have a strong sense of responsibility. This position requires a solid technical foundation, 5+ years of experience and a BS in electrical engineering. In addition to excellent FA skills, hands on experience with curve trace, light emission microscopy, IR microscopy, various laser injection techniques, microprobing, SEM, deprocessing, IC test and other related FA tools are necessary. EOE Scanning Acoustic Microscopy Expert and Materials Analysis Engineer -- Irvine, CAEvans Analytical Group, LLC (EAG) is a leader in providing microelectronics failure analysis services to organizations worldwide. The EAG worldwide lab network provides failure analysis, reliability, ATE and calibration and analytical services. It's fast paced, technically challenging environment where you will have an opportunity to use your advanced experience. We are looking for an Engineer who can help us meet our customers' goals. Responsibilities for this role include independently working with external customers in drafting efficient customer work requirements and completing the stated tasks in a timely manner. This is position will require that you independently perform hands-on microelectronic device package scanning acoustic microscopy and materials analyses. Expertise must include SAM. The ideal candidate would also have experience with related materials analysis and characterization tools and techniques. Prepare effective analysis reports with accurate and detailed data. Provide technical advice and/or direction to other analysts on team projects. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and have a strong sense of responsibility. This position requires a solid technical foundation, 5 yrs hands-on materials analysis laboratory environment/experience and a BS in Materials Science or equivalent. In addition to excellent materials analysis skills, you must have knowledge of materials analysis concepts, techniques, and methods, knowledge/familiarity with process related to FAB, Package, Reliability, strong problem solving skills, high level of independent judgment, self-motivated, work independently, ability to multi-task and be quality oriented. Must be able to demonstrate high level of technical and professional skills. Communicate effectively (verbal and written) both with peers and external customers. Familiarity and knowledge of computers and Windows based software. A strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment are essential. EOE TOF-SIMS Scientist -- Sunnyvale, CAThis position requires a solid technical foundation, and a minimum of four years hands-on experience in TOF-SIMS. An MS degree (minimum) in chemistry is required. Essential are excellent English communications skills (both written and spoken), multitasking ability, a strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment. Also necessary are impeccable customer service skills. Experience in other analytical equipment is a plus. Responsibilities include operating analytical instrumentation, developing surface analysis protocols, interpreting data, writing reports and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic with demonstrated skills in running TOF-SIMS instruments. |
