Evans Analytical Group Completes Acquisition of White Mountain Labs LLC

Dublin, Ireland — 6 December 2007 Evans Analytical Group (EAG), a leading global provider of materials characterization and microelectronic “release to production” and failure analysis (RTP/FA) testing services, announced today that it has acquired White Mountain Labs LLC (WML). WML ( www.whitemountainlabs.com ) is a leading provider of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and latch-up testing, a key set of RTP/FA services used in testing the reliability of integrated circuits and qualifying them for final volume production. WML has 17 employees, all of whom are continuing with the business, and is located in Phoenix, Arizona.

WML's leadership position in ESD and latch-up testing, combined with EAG's existing capabilities in these areas at AMER, DSL and MEFAS, establishes the Company as the largest provider of these critical reliability and qualification testing services worldwide.

David Lahar, Executive Chairman of EAG said, “The acquisition of White Mountain Labs is another important step in our strategy of consolidating the worldwide RTP/FA industry. WML is acknowledged as a technical leader in the area of ESD and latch-up testing, and we are excited by the opportunity to combine its expertise and capabilities with the proven ESD skills that we currently have in our existing operations. We continue to focus on consolidating our position as the largest provider of RTP/FA services and expect further acquisitions in this area in the coming months.”

WML's President Dr. Brenda McCaffrey added: “We have been attracted by EAG's vision of consolidating the RTP/FA services industry and offering the complete range of testing, failure analysis and reliability/qualification services on a worldwide basis. We hope to continue to expand rapidly as we leverage the capabilities of the other EAG operations as well as EAG's worldwide network of labs. I look forward to working closely with the EAG management team in quickly integrating our businesses, thereby building on WML's previous success.”
